The company is owned by Thabo “Boots” Moloto, a well-known photographer whose work is used by leading publications like Sowetan, City Press, Daily Sun, The Star, True Love, Y-Mag and Tendani Tsedu, a former journalist with the Saturday Star.
Meant to be a one-stop multi-service station for customers, Boots Photography and Multimedia partners with top journalists, Graphic Designers, Public Relations, Musicians, Television and Radio Producers to offer relevant communications service that would satisfy our customers.

THE TEAM
Mandla Motau – Journalist/Writer/Media Relations
Mandla Motau is a well-respected journo, who has written for Daily Sun, Nova, Sowetan, City Press, ILanga and Sunday Sun. He is also the owner of showbizone.co.za and contributes to different publications. A former breakfast show host on Hope FM, the now defunct Joburg community radio station, he has contributed to radio stations such as Ligwalagwala FM and BCR 104,1 FM. His views on numerous entertainment issues have been heard on SAFM, Shift (SABC1) and 702. He is the entertainment news correspondent on Oskido’s show on YFM. Mandla was involved with the PR for the Soweto Gospel Choir’s Civic Theatre’s run last year and coming up with a Daily Sun’s media plan for the coverage of Macufe in 2004. He has written numerous biographies for top artists and press releases for top entertainment companies.
Tendani Tsedu – Journalist and Media Relations Specialist
With about five years in the media industry, Tendani Tsedu has been on both sides of the fence of the media industry. A qualified journalist, Tendani worked at Saturday Star newspaper as a general reporter for about two years before he joined Rand Water as a Publication writer, then he became Publications Editor, then Publications Manager before he became Media Relations Manager for the company. This proves that Tendani knows most aspects of writing, production of a publication and how to handle the media.
Thabo Moloto – MD/Chief Photographer
Thabo Moloto is the managing director of Boots Photography and also the Chief photographer. Thabo’s love for photography manifests itself in his work and as a result he has become well known in the entertainment industry as a photographer of note. Having studied photography at the well-respected Market Theater Photo Workshop, Thabo became a creative and reliable photographer determined to take photography to new heights. Most of Thabo’s pictures get printed in South Africa’s top newspapers and magazine like Sowetan, The Star, Daily Sun, Sunday Sun, Drum Magazine, Y-Mag and True Love.
Yolisa Links – Events/Marketing/Brand manager/Public Relations
Young, smart, dynamic and creative are just some of the few words to describe Yolisa Links. Yolisa’s career has been around public relations and marketing and she brings her vast experience to Boots Photography and Multimedia. She had been an Account Executive at Meropa Communications where she handled PR for companies like International Marketing Council of South Africa. From there she moved to Ochre Communications also as an Account Executive and was in charge of the Joburg City account, organising their marketing and media events. With the knowledge and contacts that she has in the business, you can rest assured that nothing will go wrong.
Zole Moloi – Multimedia
A graduate from the National Electronic Media Institute of South Africa (Nemisa), Zole specializes in Graphic & Web Design, having worked for the Department of Communications as a Multimedia specialist / Content Manager in its Bantu Portal project and in the DoC Web Department as designer and Researcher. He has also created websites for major companies like Eskom, NEMISA, Art of Skin Care and Polokwane City amongst others, including well renowned musicians such as Yvonne Chaka Chaka and Revolution in expanding their brand through the internet. Zole is, in addition, well equipped to do TV and Radio productions.
Senky Khwezi – Photographer
Senky Khwezi is also one of those photographers whose talent you can’t question. He has managed to build a brand for himself in big companies like SABC, Rand Water and Kaya FM among others. Senky is one of Boots Photos great photographers who is reliable and delivers unique forms of photos. His photos regularly appear in Love Life Magazine, which is circulated through Independent Newspapers like The Star, Pretoria News and Cape Argus.
Oupa Bopape – Photographer
This young photographer from Alexander has worked for big news organization like Drum magazine, You magazine, Heat and other magazines that falls under Media 24 stable. He’s a hard worker who has managed to impress and surprise many clients with his photos. It’s clear that photography is a passion for him as he continues to educate himself to become the best photographer.
Lucky Mohajane – Photographer
Lucky is very well known in the entertainment media industry. He covers mostly entertainment for Sowetan. But as a true photographer, Lucky doesn’t want to limit himself. His work which range from hard news, social, business and sport pictures has appeared in newspapers like The Star, City Press and Daily Sun.
Lucky is an experienced photographer who is keen about passing his knowledge to young generations and he serves as guidance to some of our photographers here at Boots.
Jan Wright – Wedding photographer
Jan has more than 15 years experience in photography. He’s a well known freelancer whos pictures appear in Sowetan, City Press, Sunday Sun, Daily Sun, Move Magazine and many more.
Wedding photos are his speciality and his creativity combined with his experience produces pictures that the newly weds won't stop viewing.
Sipho Ntuli – Videographer
Sipho is another gifted person when it comes to video productions. He has documented events for companies like Eskom, Coca Cola and Spoornet among many.
Thabo Motsabi – Videographer
This is another young, funky and talented videographer who learned the art of filming at Nemisa, the most respected education center for multimedia courses.
Isaac Budeli – Account Officer
Isaac is a UNISA BCom Finance undergraduate. He is responsible for managing Boots Photography's finances and doing Financial Statements to make sure that we comply with SARS requirements. He also advises on investment opportunities.
Mashudu Mukomafhedzi – Office Admin.
Mashudu is young Journalist who studied for Journalism at Boston City Campus. He established his career at one of Pretoria 's biggest daily news paper Pretoria News.
